System Description

This 1982 Porsche is the 6th vehicle that Rich's Car Tunes has installed an extensive audio system in for this great customer. His previous vehicles have included a Fiat Spyder 124, Alfa Romeo GTV, BMW 530i, BMW 325, Fiat Brava, Lancia Scorpian and a Maserati Biturbo.

For his newly purchased Porsche 911 SC we installed our Porsche Reference System. The system includes a/d/s/ 325im, 200is and S6.2i speakers and a P640 amplifier. From Alpine we installed the TDA-7548 AM/FM/Cassette and CHA-S604 6 disc changer. A Clifford 60/131/2 remote keyless entry system was also installed.

Normally we install the CD changer in the front bonnet on top of the spare tire under the carpet, but the customer requested that we install it in the passenger compartment. A custom enclosure was designed to mount it under the dashboard for ease of use while the vehicle is being driven. The enclosure features an attached cover to make the installation as stealth as possible when access is not needed to the changer.

The customer not only loves his new car, but the audio system is also installed to complement the cosmetics of the vehicle. It also sounds great!
